The Old Thomians’ Association in the UK (OTAUK) hosted an exclusive and historic Thomian Dinner at the House of Lords on 5th September 2025, held in honour of the victorious 2025 Thomian Cricket Team. The event took place in the prestigious Peers’ Dining Room at the Palace of Westminster, graciously hosted by Lord James Wharton of Yarm.
The evening commenced at 6.30pm, following mandatory security screening at the Victoria Tower Gardens Visitors Entrance. Guests were welcomed to a formal reception before sitting down for a sumptuous three‑course dinner, specially curated by the House of Lords culinary team.
With over 110 distinguished attendees, the dinner brought together Old Thomians, well‑wishers, and supporters of the school. Dietary preferences and personalised seating arrangements were meticulously coordinated in collaboration with the House of Lords Events Team to ensure a seamless experience for all guests.
This landmark event not only celebrated the cricket team’s achievements but also strengthened the Thomian community in the UK, showcasing unity, tradition, and the proud heritage of S. Thomas’ College. The evening concluded at 10.30pm, leaving guests with cherished memories of an elegant and meaningful gathering in one of the most iconic institutions in the United King
